I have a dosy pm-1000 watt meter that dont read the wattage properly? When I key up radio meter slams all the way to right. The SWR works right. The modulation dont work either but I would like to try to fix the wattage side at least. When its set on 1000 watt scale I key 25 watts in shows 400 on meter  Any help would be great. Thanks.

Mod might be popped diodes.

The meter might just need calibrated. Maybe a truck stop tuner used it to show how much more power his mods made. :D

Geekster can fill you in best.

Hi I used the meter for about a year w/no problems. Then all of a sudden stopped working right? I did notice a popped diode on MOD side but power side still not right. Thanks.

I concur, it could be a diode. Yeah it also could have been due to a truck stop tuner that claimed the needle was [gasp]"Stingy"?

Did you replace the diode?

Yes I replaced diode and wattage seems to work now but not mod.
