What do you ops use to clean your gear..from dust...brush....cloth...or a vacum cleaner, a small minature vaccum would be ideal....

I use a real China-Bristle 3" paint brush...Get all the dust off. then spray a tad bit of Pledge on my hand, work it into the brush, then go over it again.
Keeps the rigs looking like new!

As far as wiping the displays off use a microfiber cloth fill a spray bottle with (Distilled water and a few drops of dish soap) spray cloth lightyly then wip display and then Ill wipe the case after display.

Microfiber cloth is scratchless and the solution I suggested is also used for flat panel TV screens and computer monitors. Reason for this is most displays and screens have4 an antiglare film and windex vinegar along with other cleaning chemicals have solvents that will take this antiglare film off and after time even paint or knob and button labels ;)

I use a soft bristle paint brush for regular dusting of my gear as this tends to get into all the little crevices in the gear and does not scratch it. It also keeps crap from accumulating and leaving gummy finger goo on the knobs etc. Whenever I remove gear when repairing, rearranging the operation desk etc. I always give each piece of gear a wipe down with a soft cloth and warm water. Old gear that has a visible layer of dirt gets a cleaning with Windex sprayed on a rag first and a toothbrush dipped in Windex for the control knobs.
