One has died

Yes, this last snow storm was brutal. They weren't sure until the snow started melting off the nest, but it's confirmed.
It also took out the microphone and the IR light on camera #1.
The Livestream is using the mic and IR from camera #2 for light and audio now.
It's unfortunate that they lost one, but they still have two health eglets and that's two more than last year after sitting on the nest for 45+ days.

Shadow picked up the deceased eglet and placed it on the edge of the nest yesterday, later Jackie picked it up and flew out of the nest.
The two remaining eglets look to be doing well, and received several meals yesterday.

I wonder if the dead chick was the last hatched and couldn't compete as well for the food brought to them? I wondered that when I seen the 3 of them being fed.

Beautiful! I live in Southeast Ohio. I've been lucky to see a couple. Not many around here, but awesome nonetheless.
