Hello group,
I have the sad but earnest task of selling all of the physical hobby goodies for a very dear friend who passed this week after a year long battle with cancer. He was Dave Burrows, W9JWT. I can sell all of his ham gear and many thing locally. A little more trouble is going to be a few other items. I'd prefer not to ship them but may have to if I can't locate a local buyer.
Anyone into model trains? There is a huge set of G Scale (2 inch track) special series trains from LBG, a major high end model train manufacturer in Germany. Must be the complete set of the Wilson Bros. Circus series. There's like 12-15 cars from the engine to the caboose. ALL are new in box, never tracked. 3 other LBG trains from the Lake George & Boulder series including engine, open box car and caboose. Two big boxes of straight and curved track, many figurines and assorted accessories.
PM me for serious inquiries. This is expensive stuff and the estate is not giving it away but I'll make a deal on the whole lot. Make offer. I think some of these train cars were over $300 a piece new/retail.
There are 3 telescopes, small, medium and large
Small - Edmund Scientific Voyager 6001 60MM Refractor, tabletop tripod type, night or day time spotting scope. Nice quality. See pics on internet. $100 ?
Medium - Zhumell 114 - 1000 Reflector on large tripod, finderscope
$100 ? See on internet
Large - HUGE Celestron NexStar 8i Reflector. Large tripod, computerized hand remote, CN-16 GPS navigator, two (duplicate ?) cases of eyepieces and filter caps, 12 volt aftermarket portable power pack, vibration suppression pad set (3) original box with padding and complete notebook manual. See more on internet. This set with all these accessories will be $1,000
Everything in very good condition. This guy was an engineer and physics professor. Everything he did was right and neat.
Can send pics of any of above to serious inquiries. Thanks for looking
