I usually buy beer in the refrigerated section of the market or rite-aid. Don’t have to wait till it gets cold. Get home, pop one open. Nice and cold!!!

Unfortunately the fireworks event was cancelled. The entire load went off apparently inside the truck on the 3rd. I hope nobody was hurt.

No fire works up here this year, fire danger is too high.
We have fires burning up in Yosemite already.
Unfortunately there are people that come up here that do not understand just how fast even the smallest fire can get out of hand.

It seems we had less people shooting their own fireworks this year due to the professional shows going on. Last year during lockdown and cancelled shows it was bat shit crazy!! Fireworks going on till 3-4am. People had nothing to do but to have their own shows.

Other that a few tourists cited for not following the rules, it was quiet here.
One group was found in a turn out above the Merced River with a open camp fire and fireworks.
We have two names for visitors up here.
Tourists and Turons
The Turons are a hybrid cross of a tourist and a moron.
The above group fall into the later category.
I am amazed at how people act at times.
We have seen people emptying the black water tank on there RV into the drain at the car wash.......
Should have snapped a picture of that one.
