EXCALIBUR SSB ?? Tech

So I went and dug my old trusty dusty Excalibur SSB outta the garage and hooked her back up !!! Ahhhhhh no static like the washington at all !! Ears for days !!!

Heres my ? The out put sux..... 2 watts swinging about 3 watts?? It used to key 2 and swing 15 on low power and on hi it would key 5 and swing 18 or 20... Whats wrong?? SSB still smokes like crazy!! Everyone says audio is awesome?? I need my 15 watts of swing back to drive this box..

Whats going on with it?? Finals???

If it's been stored in a garage, there's no telling how many cycles of high humidity, cold, and temperature variances it has gone through. That alone could very well affect electrolytic capacitors inside it. If it's been stored there for a couple years or longer, that's a very real factor to delve into.

Thanx for your reply Roger D !! I have it all boxed up and i'm sending it to Bell's CB in FL I guess they can straiten it out ??
