Here is a very nice D104 TUG8 I'm rating in Exceptional ~ 9.7 of 10 condition with extras. Has MC 320 factory cartridge that is loud, clean and clear and sounds and works as should. Operation is 10 of 10.
These mics are always getting harder and harder to find in excellent + cosmetic condition. This one is not perfect or mint or I would certainly say it is as it would have even higher value. Mint to me means "as new but used" and this one is not but the flaw marks are all very small and minor so I'm rating overall as 9.7 but you may think it's 9.8 or better.
I got this mic with very nice paint on the base and a shiny chrome cord spring so I decided to dress it up with 2 extra parts I had on hand to make it even more desirable. The base had only just a few very small nick-dings like they get and these I touched up with the tip of a silver Sharpie marker which is great match, then polished with a light coat of Meguiars clear spray wax so the base is really pretty. Whole mic cleaned and polished - there will be nothing for you to clean or do .... just start using it.
The head faceplate has again a small number of tiny little micro marks and the same with the Silver Eagle backplate I added - all marks are way too small to show up in any pics. All chrome screws on front and back of head. All screws everywhere on mic are factory originals and look good. Head and base labels are complete. Bottom plate felt is 9.9 excellent and there is a perfect schematic factory label on the underside side of plate.
Also added is a chrome (not galvanized type) side keybar bottom mounting clip which came on only certain later year models of Silver Eagles and are very hard to find as a part.
So you're getting a great sounding/working mic with all possible added chrome. If you've been waiting for a really pretty D104 then here is a great example to get. Come wired 4 pin Cobra/Uniden/Galaxy and a Duracell battery installed so will be ready to plug n' play right out of the box. I do have a 5 pin Cobra plug on hand so if you need it wired that way I will put in on for you.
