Most of us all have at least few kicking around, so I was wondering what your TOP 5 Radio - RELATED Books were, or even TOP 10.

I'm working on my list. Maybe I'll see something on yours that I've missed -

ARRL Practical Antenna Handbook
Lou Franklin's Understanding and Repairing CB Radios
Lou Franklin's ScrewDriver Expert's Guide
Lou Franklin's PLL Data Book.


I have a number of my old college textbooks that probably wouldn't fit in this list, but that cover many aspects of AM and antenna theory.

I would have to go with the lou franklin series along with sam's photo fact's

i'd have to agree with everything listed and the motorola rf device book and a few by jerrry sevick for building baluns and ununs.

I forgot about my "Truth about CB Antennas" by Orr. I also have an almost complete Sams CB Photofact set. Plus, too many data and application books to begin to list.

Big Dummy's Guide to CB Radio (with the rabbit in the big rig). I learned the basics from this book as a 10-year old!

I dont recall the title, but wasn't the rabbit character called Communications Bunny Rabbit, CB Rabbit for short?

Pratical Antenna Handbook by Joe Carr. Great book. Talks about all kinds of antenna stuff. From Microwave, to VHF, Shortwave, HF. Also comes with some antenna modeling software. It is easy to understand for us mental midgets. Talks about skip , groundwave, grounding etc. Its all there.
