Favorite Radio Books

In no particular order:

ARRL Handbook
ARRL Practical Antenna Handbook
Lou Franklin's Understanding and Repairing CB Radios
Lou Franklin's ScrewDriver Expert's Guide
Lou Franklin's PLL Data Book.

I have a number of my old college textbooks that probably wouldn't fit in this list, but that cover many aspects of AM and antenna theory.

Good list! My list is similar -

(no particular order except for the first one listed)

1. CBers' SSB Handbook by Tom "Tomcat" Kneitel (not the Dummy's Guide, this one is older and smaller in size)

2. The Truth about CB Antennas by William Orr

3. Franklins "CB PLL DATA BOOK"

4. Franklins "Understanding and repairing CB Radios"

5. ARRL Handbook

Pratical Antenna Handbook by Joe Carr. Great book. Talks about all kinds of antenna stuff. From Microwave, to VHF, Shortwave, HF. Also comes with some antenna modeling software. It is easy to understand for us mental midgets. Talks about skip , groundwave, grounding etc. Its all there.
