That is the right thing to do. I know some of us "Hams" have a streak of self-righteous indignation when it comes to new radio ops or CBers.

There are very few things worse than an ex CBer turned Ham who is full of himself. :thumbdown:

Also, it was very common back in the 50's for kids as young as 13 to have a license.
