FEMA Deliberately Sabotaging Hurricane Relief Efforts
Multiple parishes revolt, use armed guards to defend against feds

Paul Joseph Watson & Alex Jones | September 6 2005

Numerous credible sources have come forward with examples of how the Federal Emergency Management Agency is deliberately sabotaging Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in New Orleans. This represents a ruthless attempt on the part of FEMA to impose a federal takeover of the area for their own benefit amid a tragedy that has already claimed anything up to 10,000 lives.

The mainstream media has picked up on this story but is whitewashing it as just another 'failure' of the federal government in dealing with the crisis.

In reality the actions are part of a coordinated campaign to deepen the scope of the disaster in order to force through bumper funding increases for FEMA.

Jefferson Parish President Aaron Broussard (pictured below) appeared on Meet the Press Sunday and broke down in tears as he described FEMA's criminal activities.

"We have been abandoned by our own country. Hurricane Katrina will go down in history as one of the worst storms ever to hit an American coast, but the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina will go down as one of the worst abandonments of Americans on American soil ever in U.S. history."

We had Wal-Mart deliver three trucks of water, trailer trucks of water. FEMA turned them back. They said we didn't need them. This was a week ago. FEMA--we had 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel on a Coast Guard vessel docked in my parish. The Coast Guard said, "Come get the fuel right away." When we got there with our trucks, they got a word. "FEMA says don't give you the fuel." Yesterday--yesterday--FEMA comes in and cuts all of our emergency communication lines. They cut them without notice. Our sheriff, Harry Lee, goes back in, he reconnects the line.

He posts armed guards on our line and says, "No one is getting near these lines."

Why would FEMA, an organization supposedly tasked with helping in a time of crisis, deliberately cut police communication lines? This is a blatant example of sabotage and a sick push to make the disaster worse. In carrying out these actions, FEMA are no better than the animals who shot at rescue workers and helicopters.

Watch the video of the Meet the Press interview.

The mission of FEMA has never in reality been to bring people food and water and help in times of crisis. Alex Jones has attended numerous FEMA drills where the whole point of the exercise is to round people up, break up families and institute a brutal police state crackdown.

FEMA need to create a chaotic atmosphere in New Orleans so they can legitimize what they are doing.

We now have multiple reports of police being ordered to guard key infrastructures in order to defend them from FEMA federal agents. Sheriffs in numerous different counties are guarding highways to keep FEMA out. FEMA is being treated as the enemy because they are sabotaging key facilities in an effort to intentionally worsen the already desperate scenes of horror in New Orleans.

FEMA is sabotaging lines of communication so their activities cannot be exposed to the wider relief authorities and the media.

Commenting on the sabotage by FEMA of communication lines, Washington insider Wayne Madsen states,

"Jamming radio and other communications such as television signals is part of a Pentagon tactic called "information blockade" or "technology blockade." The tactic is one of a number of such operations that are part of the doctrine of "information warfare" and is one of the psychological operations (PSYOPS) methods used by the US Special Operations Command."

Radio host Carol Baker who has been tracking the FEMA sabotage stated that Plaquemines Parish Sheriff Jeff Hingle had his deputies patrol the county line under orders not to let FEMA in.

As is discussed in the Meet the Press interview, Jefferson Parish Sheriff Harry Lee also has armed guards patrolling the county line in order to prevent the FEMA sabotage.

FEMA has a number of executive orders that outline the total federal takeover of any US city.

For a full synopsis of FEMA's executive orders in light of the hurricane, click here.

FEMA is clearly using this human catastrophe as a means of executing its decade long plans and providing the pretext for future takeover scenarios of all major American cities.

Amongst a litany of government inaction and outright dereliction, this is the most alarming evidence to emerge yet that clearly indicates an agenda for the federal government to profit and expand its power from exploiting the aftermath of the hurricane.

We will continue to track this story as it develops

"Plaquemines Parish Sheriff Jeff Hingle had his deputies patrol the county line under orders not to let FEMA in. "

The only news story I found about this sheriff guarding his boarders were against looters not FEMA.

Plaquemines Parish, Sheriff Jeff Hingle blocked off the roads, organized his people, went to stores, schools and other places. He took the food, weapons, and other items needed for his citizens to survive to a central location. They are all eating and cleaning up.

This is organization at its finest.
Where's the leadership for New Orleans and the rest of the State?

"The sheriff also says he knows how to deal with looters -- shoot to kill.
This Louisiana sheriff is not kidding when he says that if you come to his community to loot, you will not leave alive.
Hingle has deputized an additional 150 officers, armed them with rifles and six boxes of bullets each.
He has stationed them on the border of Orleans Parish and says he plans to nip this problem in the bud.
He says if New Orleans would start shooting its looters, the problem would soon cease. "

And the main Sheriff Mr. Alex Jones wants to parade is a "shoot-em-up kind a guy too-

Jefferson Parish Sheriff Harry Lee came just short of challenging the Rev. Tom Watson of New Orleans to a duel Sunday, calling on Watson to meet him "anytime, anyplace at any venue" to hash out their ongoing dispute spurred by comments each has made after a New Orleans teenager in a stolen car was killed in a shower of gunfire by sheriff's deputies late last month.

Lee's comments came hours after a taxpayer-financed $25,000 line in the sand was drawn in black ink, in the form of a two-page advertisement Lee took out in the Sunday Times-Picayune.

In the advertisement, an "open letter" to Watson, Lee lambasted Watson and the Greater New Orleans Coalition of Ministers, which Watson leads, for attacking the "good guys" in law enforcement while ignoring hundreds of black-on-black killings in Orleans and Jefferson parishes in recent years.

The war of words began after the May 31 killing in River Ridge of 16-year-old Antoine Colbert, who was behind the wheel of a stolen pickup truck with two other teens as it led Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies on a chase from Jefferson to River Ridge. The chase ended when they allegedly tried to run over an officer.

Watson suggested that Jefferson Parish police were having human "target practice." He also suggested that lifting the residency requirement for police in Orleans Parish would invite more instances of suburban white officers opening fire on black people.

Police said nearly 110 shots were fired into the truck, with Colbert and two other 16-year-olds inside. Colbert's two passengers survived, though injured.

Watson was unable to be reached for comment Sunday.

Earlier in the debate, Watson said: "What scares me about that is if we allow all these cops from all these other neighboring parishes to come in here who are insensitive to our community, we'll begin to see the same kind of increase in brutality amongst our citizens of New Orleans. And not only the young people, but guys who are dressed like you and I. The profiling has already begun."

Lee responded with swift wrath to Watson's comments, inviting the reverend to "kiss my a- -."

Tensions have yet to cool, Lee said Sunday. "I'm still incensed over Watson's statements," he said. "I'm willing to meet him anytime, anyplace at any venue to share our views . . . even if we may have to hold our noses to talk."

In his letter to Watson, Lee said, "Despite the low regard that you and I have for each other, I think we both want what is best for our community."

Lee defended the use of taxpayer dollars to pay for the ad, boasting that he would do what it takes to spark a dialogue concerning crime and race that he said many have been afraid to talk about.

"I'm going to be honest. I'm picking a fight," Lee said. "It's a fight I've been trying to avoid for 25 years, staying out of (crime issues) in New Orleans. . . . The things that need to be said are not being said by New Orleanians, so if it takes a slanty-eyed (guy) from outside, then that's what I'll do."

Lee said that crime is out of control in New Orleans, and that the city's problems affect Jefferson Parish as well. As an example, he pointed to the slight jump in crime over the past few years that has stemmed from residents' dislocation as public housing developments in New Orleans have been razed and dismantled.

While New Orleans Police Superintendent Eddie Compass has said wants to craft his department into a friendlier force, Lee said he thinks the city and its residents would benefit more from tough policing.

I love this one:

Louisiana Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu threatens President Bush with physical violence by saying, "If one person criticizes our sheriffs, or says one more thing, including the President of the United States, he will hear from me--one more word about it after this show airs and I--I might likely have to punch him--literally."

It is a felony to threaten the President of The United States with violence.

Never respond directly to any difficult questions; rather, shift to invective, hyperbole and dysjunctive syllogisms. Never argue defense, always return fire with personal attack. Lower the level of debate whenever possible. Repeat, never respond directly to any allegations. Reduce all argument to the most simplistic insults possible. Always attack. Any attempts to justify atrocities will invariably lead to discovery not that there are massive holes in logic, but that there is no logic at all. No matter what happens, under all circumstances, act superior. If you are not for me, you are against me. My god can kill your god. Respond to all attempts at reason by telling them they are pathetic. Reply to any serious attempt at debate by telling them they are idiots. Be free with insults. Attack. Remember what Eisenhower said. Around the same time Einstein said the US was picking up where germany left off. He wasn't just talking about armaments. I actually met Werner Von Braun once. Nice man. Beautifully manicured fingers. Attack. Do not question the imperial dogma. Always feel supreme. Speak as if you have your own private magna carta. Remember that righteousness has more idioms for the hell it hides than any heaven it can promise. Polarize, marginalize. Sully the debate at every turn. Remember Ayn Rand evolved into Ann Coulter. Don't answer any questions. Don't ask any questions. Orwellian Blueprint at work. The Last Man in Europe. Camus' the First Man. Enemy minds, discredit rather than defend. Stay safe. Stay in the wheels. Spit, swear that any search for the truth is an inquistion. Cast dispersions on their personal lives. Pump up the bile. Infuse and inflame. There is no truth. There is no grand illumination for humanity by means of the realization of democracy. Don't let anyone ask why it is we are installing a king. There is no truth. There is only power. Let them eat cake. Attack, insult. Remember that just because your paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you. Attack, demean, lower all levels of discourse. Keep it slimey. And never forget in the immortal words of Randy Newman "Let's drop the big one. There'll be no one left to blame us."

No, I posted what I did to show that there can be further investigating into the statements being portrayed as fact and look into the character of those being illuminated in the statement. These men mentioned have a reputation as being sort of mavericks and rough and tough.I looked up a search about the one sheriff guarding borders and found a totally different story. Just because Alex Jones says it's so doesn't make it so. He himself it looked at with great skeptisizm. Everyone that doesn't agree with his groupies are parroted by them as an "ostrich". I think it is they that have made a king- Alex Jones. And if you don't take the time to check further into things from other sources outside the group and there counterparts than I question who is really the "ostrich".

Didn't mean you. You had facts and thought in your post. And I take LOTS of time to look at different sources. I read at least three papers a day and then I get started. It's nice to read very fast.
