I am running on a A99 antenna. I am getting about a S7 on 10 through 15 meters , and others. 20 Meters quiets right down. Also 40 is quiet. Not talking on 40 with this antenna just for testing purposes. My 2 meter hand held also is very quiet also not going through the A99.
I also notice the noise seems worse on SSB than AM. If I am on 10 meter and switch to my 6 meter antenna the noise goes away. I tried tracking this down with a AM radio and a hand held but really find no transformers near by where the noise gets worse. Could this be a antenna problem?
