First Contact into the UK

I had a great time earlier today, almost every time I called out seemed like someone was calling back to 719 SE Oklahoma. Most of my contacts were on channels above or below 38 lsb.
Here are the contacts I made
27.5135= 013 Jamaica
017 New York
9231 operator Paul, Southern Connecticut
1963 Jamaica
464 Jamaica
27.4335= 403 Vermont
27.4235= Buffalo NY #s ???
Operator Richard, England. Didn't get his numbers, the UK is a first for me.
27.4135= 789 Northern Idaho
27.4835= 427 World Radio Alberta Canada
27.3635= 99 Jamaica
27.3735= 814 Providence RI

The frequencies you list seem odd.. when adding. 0015 to all things would make more sense. 98% of all contacts I've made on 11 meters have been on even 5's of flats... 27.515, 27.435, 27.425, 27.420...etc.
Might want to investigate this. Compare to another radio..settings...alignment.

Anyway, well done on working across the "big pond" for the first time!

Something about the frequency counter, I can't remember exactly what LC said about it, but it's a little different as far as the numbers go. Even though it seems a little odd, it's on frequency with the numbers I have listed. It seems like it's something to do with the Digi Scan counter, I contacted LC about it as soon as I noticed a difference, my 2950 frequency counter reads out like your example.

Good job on the UK contact, I am told that it will be like shooting fish in a barrel over the next few years as conditions improve. I will be in there listening for you.

Delaware Base Station 808 standing by!

I pretty much talk to 2 & 9 division daily, 10 division also often 5/9+ both ways, so if anybody wants to arrange a contact I'm all in.

Please PM or post here.

26EK023 think you and I have worked a bunch of times. 73 from 2KY100 Tim.
Hey Tim,

Small world mate.

Yes, we've worked each other several times now.

Here are my QSO spots of our contacts; as you can see, you're regularly 5/9 +10dB to me here.

If you'd like, we can schedule a contact on a frequency on USB/LSB?

I'm in the UK, regulary chat over to the North & South America's, & would be happy to send a QSL confirmation upon ending of our QSO if you like?

I'll be on & off all day today (Saturday 4th Feb).

Welcome to the forum. I'm at work and still have 9 days left on my hitch, so no radio for me until I'm back home.
