A mic would cause a little talkback when there isn’t supposed to be any? I mean I guess it is a 5 pin so I’m not entirely sure how the wiring works.

No worries there. It took me a long time to find one in my budget. We all know buying a used radio is always a gamble.

Thankfully this one was never hacked into and a friend of mine checked the clarifier. Thankfully the clarifier is still locked.

I’m going to be awhile before I can get a spare mic for it. I’m not seeing any loose wires on my current mic yet.

Theres gotta be a first for everything though
