For years the big "scare" was that margarine was only only one molecule different from plastic. So what? The human race is only one chromosome different from a chimpanzee. It's not how close something is to something else it's the difference that counts.

Mold won't start on a lot of things but give it a catalyst and it sure will. I have seen mold on our margarine before, usually after the kids leave toast crumbs in it to start on. :censored:

Table salt is not white in color? It sure is in pretty much white at the Windsor salt mine in Pugwash Nova Scotia. Most of it is either white or slightly gray in color. The better (whiter) salt goes into the food industry while the lower quality goes for highways and deicing. Normal underground salt is the same salt found in the sea,it was deposited there megayears ago. Unless sea salt is refined it contains many chemicals as well. Just think about all the crap that has been dumped into the oceans in the last 100 years.Sea salt has a different taste depending on where it comes from due to the presence of different minerals and chemicals unique to the specific area it was extracted from unless refined and it still contains anti-caking compounds to keep it from sticking together due to moisture absorption.

BTW you should see how they make sugar white. It isn't white to begin with you know. that scarier than the part about salt. I hope you don't consume ANY sugar. The charcoal used in the refining process comes from animal bones BTW.

There are far easier ways to handle that problem.
