I have another Yaesu FT-840 Has Am Filter and FM Board installed this one has the blinking display and I believe they say it was a bad resistor that caused this in a few of these models and I just have no ambition to dig into it. However it did work well until the PLL unlock due to bad part this one is I believe 7-8 on appearance (again not new SCRATCHES) There was no cord or Mice for this one when I got it but I think I can go through this stuff here and find something as far as a stock Microphone and power cord or I can just put one together. Both these radios have expanded coverage "Mars Mod" These filters and FM boards alone are not cheap!! $100.00 to $150.00 for the FM board and and you would probably cry when seeing what the AM filter goes for if you can find one!! These 2 particular radios were for 2 of my kids that are licensed operators but they are really not active as they are at their early adulthood late teens and other things are more impotant at this point Ive had these radios since 2005 or 2006 I had added the extra FM and filter boards

RCI-2970 Orange face stock microphone and mounting bracket theres a switch on the front right underside that turns the internal aplifier off for running your own external amplifier that requires low input power. Ive ran this radio on 10 meters 29,6000 FM and ran 10 meter USB this past week along with running it on LSB for an hour aswell as testing the AM radio is a 7-8 on appearance radio is freshly alligned. No drifting and no ther mods other than the amplifier shutoff switch and frequency expansion Radio is doing 100 watts on peak reading meter. $275.00 Shipped and insured

Uniden HR-2510 works great open clarifer and frequency expansion modifications done. Face is faded but custom face plate stickers are obtainable online this radio is a 6-7 in apearance these radios are rock solid Sideband talkers which is what they were made for. I can install a blue frequency display light if you dont want the stock amber arange. I have some extra bulbs here $165.00 Shipped and Insured
