Well I just tried to work the AO-51 at FT Drum, good long pass with good elevation but didnt get any replies so I dont know if I was getting in or not. I'll keep trying as time permits on some of the other satellites. Tried NA1SS today as well but all quiet ..

That pass was absolute chaos, I heard part of one of your first calls early in the pass but just Ft Drum, NY and later got the full callsign. John's recording has it at about 8 minutes 40 seconds into the recording, I dont know why anyone else didn't respond

The ISS is another story, I am about to give up on contact. I think its great that Col Wheelock is spending time doing voice contacts when he has time and that the packet/APRS is going when he is performing his other duties

My days up here are kind of crazy so I'll be hit or miss on the Sats till around the 18th or 19th .. Pretty sure I am in FN23 I'll have to check the map online but I will try some contacts, maybe on the SO-50 or AO-27

Ok made a couple more contacts yesterday on the 27 bird, FT Drum sits on a plateau so its been pretty good for SAT passes.
I'll be leaving here on Thursday, so between today and tomorrow I will try to work the birds. Work has been nuts up here with lots of Range time.

It seems that the ISS runs packet most of the time, I don't think I've heard voice before 2100Z. Be sure to use Ft. Drum NY after your callsign, I do remember Col. Wheelock mentioning that NY was his home state.

I listened twice late this afternoon and nothing. Just finished packing all my stuff up, wont have time tomorrow and will be on the road Thursday.

I made a few contacts which was pretty good considering the limited time I had to do it.
