FT 2000 DMU w/ KVM Switch

I recently bought an FT 2000 with the DMU and both are working great. The DMU will display on one of several monitors. I wanted to share a View sonic Monitor between the DMU and a PC. The 2 channel KVM switch will pass video from the PC but not from the DMU. I swapped cables and ports to be sure they were not at fault. The KVM device will switch between ports but only passes video from the PC. If the DMU is connected directly to that monitor, it looks and works great. Any thoughts on why a signal from the DMU will not pass through a KVM switch? I have another KVM switch elsewhere in the video chain and it works just fine. Many Thanks, Jim KD1I

My guess is that the DMU is using a video mode or resolution that the KVM can not "see" to pass through. Check the specs on your KVM.

Thank you for the reply. I will have to contact the manufacturer.... The unit did not come with any documentation.
