Which cables do i need to connect FT991 and PC to use psk31
I know there drivers to download and settings to do
run HRD de luxe
or a serial cable both ends rs232
or a cable one end rs232 other usb
or a cable one end usb other round 6 pin
or do i need them all

use a a USB serial cable into the connection on the back of the rig.

for HRD, There are two com ports identified for the radio
1. CAT communications and firmware updating .... Enhanced Com Port
2. TX Control (PTT, KEY, FSK) .... Standard Com Port

make sure you have the LATEST YAESU software update, I think JULY 2015 Ver 0202 is the latest update.

also, older HRD versions will NOT work with the 991, HRD issued an updated version just for the 991.
