When listening to AM or FM music Radio on the left and scanning local PD on the right there is a odd issue here, there is full S'units on the AM station but it will not sound audio unless the right side picks up a transmission... as soon as the dispatcher unkeys and starts scanning again the audio cuts out on the left...?

Did i set something wrong in the menu or forget to?
i don't have this issue with the same radio mobile.

so i am using the internal sound card on my pc and i guess it doesn't work unless i have the audio setting on the radio for FRONT + REAR. kind of a bummer but hey at least i can listen to more then one thing now :)

Not sure I'm understanding what is going on here. Are you running the sound out from the radio into the sound card of your pc and trying to hear the radio through your PC? If so, try disconnecting the external speaker and see how it behaves. I tried to replicate what you describe happening using just the radio, and I couldn't. I can listen to broadcast radio on the left and any VHF/UHF station on the right at the same time.

I will make a video and post it to show the audio problem.

OK, the key here was using AM broadcast radio on one side and VHF on the other. When I did that, I experienced the same thing as you and I can't find any setting to alleviate the issue. It appears as if the RX 2m frequency on the right VFO is slightly desensing the RX on the AM broadcast. Why? I don't know
