Thanks 2315, I will see if I can put it on the bench this week. I am an Industrial Electronics Technician by trade with over 20 years experience..... and I don't even own a scope. Trying to get a day off is hard but I have 3 weeks of vacation that I have to take before the end of the year. The only mods to the radio that I can see are the modulation resistor has been clipped and the clarifier is unlocked. I put a toggle switch on the talk back wire when I got it. I will probably send it somewhere for a tune when I am done fiddling with it. And now the Stryker 447 has caught my eye even though it doesn't have SSB. LOL

Thanks everyone for all the help. I will give another update when I get it back on the bench. Maybe I will figure out how to post pictures too. LOL
