Galaxy DX 77HML, major score...

well I just got a Galaxy DX 77HML...

the guy owed me a little money for some tune up work (about $30 worth)

- the face plate is a little beat up
- does not have a freq counter hook up
- antenna connector was messed up
- WAY off freak
- every pot in the rig was turned to '11'

first time I fired it up I went to the local sideband hang out channel and everyone said I sounded like an alien... lol on top of that I had to crank the coarse clarifier way to the left to hear people...

well I downloaded the service manual and did a quick alignment, now everyone says it sounds great... think I made a good purchase
