Galaxy

Hi beachbum, the Galaxy performance is ok, the build is not as good as the orig sadelta range, i found 1/4 mic gain on 2510 on a sadelta more than 1/2 up on galaxy on test plus the internal build poor as to the original sadelta the galaxy is the 3rd evolution of this mic the one before was a german make and that was,c--p as well. answer to your orig question works ok they work well on 2510.when the mic switches ware out use micro switches instead be carfull with the ptt bar as i have herd on the new Galaxy mics they can break? i reckon my self people get lazy and use their feet to key up,HAhaa.

Sadelta's Hmmmm , Originally made in Italy (CTI Midland related as far as I think I know) , GREAT MICS !! BUT FRAGILE to say the least. Red PTT was known to break at infinitum. Can't count how many I seen glued together over the years. Gas hogs too !! You could unhook the meters in them and get twice the battery life if it meant that much to you and kept that double damned nerve racking roger beep off !! other then all that , A GREAT sounding and performing microphone with a good touch of echo on the side ,with or with out , they held there own. I personally didn't see that much differance between the Galaxy and the Sadelta , surely sounded and performed the same to me. They especially sound AWESOME on 148s/Grants and Cobra 2000's
