Anyone know what happened to Gatekeeper? Hasn't submitted a video to you tube in 6 months and didn't answer my text. He's got a bunch of Texas Star parts and I'm trying to find a supplier for a few pieces.

Barkett has nothing left. Gatekeeper had the stuff and a small mod he was going to tell me about for a DX 250 but I ne4ver got back to him. Now, I want to get the project finished and I can't find him.
I've been wondering the same. I also sent him a text a few weeks ago and never got a reply. Hopefully the reason he's out isn't a bad one. The guy really loves the amp building hobby so it's has to be a good reason. Hopefully he's alright.
He made a few appearances here on the forum but some members dug into him pretty hard and I believe it drove him away.
That's too bad. He has a lot of knowledge he could share here. He was assisting me and guiding me through a little project I have going with an old 250 and just disappeared.
Sadly, Ed, that’s all too common here.
Um, is this the Youtuber who recommends grinding the heat sink surface to a rough finish before bolting a 2SC2879 to it?

Was looking for the variable caps on the older ones for the input and output Tunes. It's not that big of a deal, really, it's just something my buddy had laying around Betty blew up, but we came across a couple of good output transistors so we figured we play around to see if we can get it working.
Be careful. I have been waiting on parts from him since November. He keeps saying they are on the way.
