I'd "settle" for this :thumbup1:

Take an Icom 746 Pro type design

Add:

A second full receiver - 2 VFO's ~ 2 receivers / dual display of course

220 & 440. And when you snip the thing that needs snippin', it TX's from 1.6 to 500mhz straight through

Internal antenna tuner works on all freqs. and can correct a 5:1 mismatch

5 antenna imputs

Does 200 watts FM/SSB, 100W AM carrier swings to 200

Okay. I'm not greedy. I'll stop here ;)

All Icom....

For an HF rig the IC-7600...all the features I'd even want or need, and not overly complicated.
For an amp, the IC-PW1, solid state simplicity, and more than enough power.
For UHF/VHF the IC-880H, fairly simple to use dual bander with the added feature of D-Star.
For an HT the IC-92A with the GPS speaker mic.
For my UHF/VHF antenna, I'm more than happy with the Diamond X50A I have now.
For my HF antenna the top of the line 160m to 6m Butternut with the roof mount and counter poise kit.

But before I even attempted to put together a station like that I'll have to wait for one of my kids to move out so I can take over their room for an inside shack.....there's no way I'd put gear like that out in the garage.....
