I've bought from Clays. Honest and reliable, I plan to order something from him again his prices are reasonable. It was my first purchase of a new radio and I wanted to was the radio to meet spec with 100% modulation. I have to wonder everyone popping finals has more to do with the fact of the "peak and tune" then slap a power mic on it. Its like people are just slamming these radios into the red.

Had them convert my then-new Uniden PC-76 to dual finals in 1997. Never a hiccup right thru 2014.

Used for months, then would sit a few years. (Repeat).

Bought 2 Comp plus Predator antennas from him a while back and got the standard
K-1-9. Called up and asked what the deal was. email was sent saying that I got what I ordered and I responded with "why did I pay $10 bucks more for the basic 10K. Was told that the bad to the bone antenna was never advertised and if you go to the website it mentions the difference between the antennas and it is pasted in black and white that the bad to the bone is the comp plus antenna.
