Going on a road trip soon and will be broadcasting from a historic location. I am open to suggestions for bands to try on. I am already taking 10/11 CB, 20 meters and 40 meters. No linears. Just my Icom IC-746. Just looking for advice and maybe set up a schedule for contacts.

Well we made the trip down, but no radio contacts. I thought for sure some locals or Cubans would have given a come back. I did make a contact with one of the Chief idiots on 14.313 and he was in San Antonio. Might try again later with a general CQ.

Ham sticks, Talked to a guy in Mumbay India with the ham stick in the past.

Hamsticks work fine, not the best you can get but they work. Above 20 meters not so great
