Good opening in the Pacific yesterday - 11 mt.

I was surprised when the heard things open up in the Pacific yesterday, for all I've been hearing lately has been just Hawaii mostly.

So I did get to work several guys from Australia, one from Papua New Guinea, one from Western Kiribati and one from New Zealand. This was in the afternoon on the coast.

About one hour then gone!

Oh...Chile was also coming in for a short burst, but didn't bother keying. Curacao island (Caribbean Sea) was also in there, but didn't bother keying.......

Had some good dx into Europe yesterday morning. Two good contacts in England, two in Ireland, one in Germany, and an excellent 25 minute qso with 1SD227 Giamcarlo in Milan , Italy. But the window closed and didn't open again. Then the normal Eastern US dx rolled in until 10 pm at night when it finally faded.

I have also talked with 1SD227 a couple of times, this was back a couple months ago - Giamcarlo has been the only one from that country that I've heard in the last 7 yrs.
