Please, can I present the magazine we publish ?
HamRadio Magazine issue #2

HamRadio Magazine |
This issue was produced on the same principle as the first issue: a plain, basic translation of the French 'Radioamateur Magazine' N°12. If this second issue was published, it is because you liked the first issue and we received many comments after publishing N°1.
All your feedback encouraged us to continue, although we did get some negative comments about the translation. This issue won't be any better (HI!), but remains FREE. You'll have to pay for the third issue, though, when Mark, F6JSZ, ex-editor of the French CQ Magazine between 1995 and 2000, takes the reins.
Based on Mark's experience, we'll have translated articles from the French magazine, but also exclusive papers from anglophone hams around the world. The new version of your ham radio e-paper aims to be a combination of all ham radio activities, from kit-building to contesting, from QRP to amplifiers, from DX'ing to VHF, etc.
Despite the general satisfaction and numerous positive comments we received, we'll publish the magazine during a 3-month trial period. We'll focus on what you, the reader, would like to see, and then decide to continue the adventure or not.
If the magazine reflects what you want to see, if we gather enough readers, we will then continue the project. It all depends on us, providing you with the content you would like to see, but also on you, to invest in the idea. For us, a ham magazine is a link between its readers and the editorial staff.
Mark and I have been working in the amateur radio press business for almost 16 years, and despite the financial crisis and bad propagation conditions, we thought it was the good time to launch something new. We'll talk about this further on in 3 months... Until then, please don't hesitate to send any information to Mark for publishing: club news, DX news, expedition reports, technical articles, questions, etc., at his e-mail address:
f6jsz@radioamateur-magazine.fr
For now, we invite you to download issue N°2, totally free of charge at:
