You old goat!
Enjoy your day OM....
We are both "coming" to the ages when we cease to be part of the solution...
And....
By some of these "Newbie's" standards we are now part of the "Problem":whistle:
All the Best

I'm sure they have something similar to our U.S. birthdays but with a hint of French influence.

He is from "New Scotland" probably wears a kilt and plays the bagpipes or something. :D

Happy Birthday CK.

The wife has thought I was part of the problem since October 15, 1989. We were married on October 14. 1989. :D At 49 and having been into this hobby now for 35 years I feel I may now qualify as being one of the old farts I used to talk about.

They have birthdays in Canada?

Yeah but we only have them twice a year.

I don't take hints.

bon anniversaire, joyeux anniversaire eh. ;)

WTF did he say??

Happy Birthday CK.

Not sure what is scarier,a kilt, the sound of bagpipes, or envisioning me in a kilt. Besides my ancestors actually came from Ireland and Wales.

Thanks guys. I took last night off and plan for a few family and friends in today. BBQ is gassed up and shortly after dinner I plan to get a bit gassed up myself.

Potato eating coal miners eh? :D

Ahh that explains it, now I understand after all these years.

When you said you were gassing up the BBQ, it made me think a minute.....Down here we race Cars, Trucks,Boats, Go-carts, even lawn-mowers...
But I guess You guys up north need to stay warm so I figure it makes sense that you might race BBQ`s.
I dug around on Google for a while, I found a few neat looking ones ( below) BBQ`s that look like V-8`s, a BBQ powered by a Hemi, Even a V-8 powered Big wheel, and a V-8 powered Snow blower.... but I can not find any one Racing BBQ`s.
Can you send us a pictures or two of you racing your BBQ?

Anyway, happy birthday there Captain, Have a Two Four of Fifty and Cinquante and keep a Mickey of good rum close in case ya need it.
Don`t get to gassed up, I don`t want to read about you going Boonie-bouncing wearing nothing but a Toque and getting in a Kastaveup, or even a Kerfuffle with the Local Mounties!

Happy Birthday, Garth! The scariest thing about Scot things is neither the kilt nor the pipes. 'Tis the haggis! If anybody tells you they have a good recipe for haggis, tell him there's no such thing.

The reason that Scots drink 20 y.o. Scotch on Robert Burn's Day before they eat, is so they can't recall the taste of the Haggis the next day.

Happy B'Day CK, and have a great BBQ.
