it's my dream antenna!
NOS for less than it would have cost me just for the aluminum tubing. I thought for a minute it was missing the large hub, as you can see it's not in the pic, but it was there, just stuck in the other side of the box. only down side is I've got a sprained hand so I can't put it together/up immediately. with that and the regular getting ready for winter chores, it may not go up until spring.
according to the number rubber-stamped on the box, it's the 9 millionth or so starduster made (or maybe 9 millionth antenna specialists antenna?). all those antennas and I've only ever personally known one CBer that ran one.
How 'bout it Sleepwalker, you got a copy?
I had found one on a guys roof that was there when he bought the house. he wasn't a CBer and was going to sell it to me, but wouldn't let me take it down. he told me when and I showed up just in time to watch him snap off one of the radials in the hub. so I passed on it.
I do plan on getting stainless hardware for it, and some LMR-400 (or US made equivalent).
