has anyone seen this radio? i got one on ebay for real cheap. it's in EXCELLENT condition, even has the protective film on the face. deadkeys 4w and swings 19w with a cobra ca-73 hand mic. the radio came with a dynamic amplified mic but it had a dead battery. which brings me to my next question: does anyone know where i can get a 7V battery for this mic? it looks similar to the CR123 flashlite batteries. looked all over the net and checked ebay with no luck. my guess is it has been OOP for awhile. idk? any help would be great. thanx.

If it is the cylinder-shaped 7v battery - the only place that I've seen them available for around ~$5 online. I don't remember where - sorry. Radio Shack sells a 9v battery with the same dimensions and cost around ~$10. I used it in a Radio Shack power mic that required a 7v battery - but the 9v worked fine and seemed to last longer.
...dos centavos...

yes, it is a cylinder shaped battery. looks very much like the CR123 batteries. i was told that i could stack 5 LR44 batteries and that would work also. even though the 5 LR44's supply a half volt more than required.

checked for mod help on the net but came up with nothing. the only pots i found inside the radio were VR2, VR4, VR6, VR9 and VR10. anybody have any mods for this radio? would just like to get a few extra watts out of it. i do have an extra RFX75 laying around, i wonder if it will work on this model?
