HAVING SMALL ISSUE WITH THE SITE

Due to a long illness I haven't been logged into the site for some time. About 3 weeks ago I tapped on my WWDX noyiced that I wasn't logged in. I logged in without issue, but ever since then if I don't tap my wwdx icon about once a day I need to continue to add my information, email and password. I have been choosing the stay logged in option, and even though I do so I still need to add my information in order to gain access to the site. If I wait any longer then two days I have to reenter my information password/email in order to get onto the site. Any ideas of how or what I should do in order to keep my profile logged on without having to keep logging in every time I want to check out the site? Thanks 73 PS. I do we call before my long absence to the farm I very rarely if ever had to log in no matter how long of an absence I would take. There has been times where I haven't used the site and two weeks, possibly longer yet I was still logged in when I tapped on the icon.

No idea. Things seem normal on my end. I use a laptop and my Android phone and never have to reenter login data. No issues on my tablet either. Is your device clearing cookies every night?

No idea. Things seem normal on my end. I use a laptop and my Android phone and never have to reenter login data. No issues on my tablet either. Is your device clearing cookies every night?

Sorry CK. I'm not exactly sure what clearing cookies means. But I do clear my cachet before shutting my phone down for the evening. It's an Android device, and although I'm not familiar with clearing cookies as i mentioned above I will go ahead and search that particular subject. If there is an option for an Android to clear cookies at particular time periods it is possible I have that option set. If clearing cookies disables sites that you are logged into causing you to have to re-enter your login information every time you want to get on to that particular site I can't say that I do belong to other sites that require login information, and those sites are not affected as this one is. I will go ahead and do the clearing cookies search anyway. Nothing wrong with gaining some knowledge. Thank you. 73

I myself have never had this problem , but then again I'm nosy ! I try to pop in daily and chat for a bit , over the years I have made many friends . If I don't chat everyday they think something is wrong . Thank you WWDX for having me as a member ! I learned a lot and have made many friends .

Yep, clearing the cache, cookies or using the Private Browsing feature will do it in a heartbeat.

After clearing my cache I found that I was still logged in. But after deleting my search history i was knocked off the site, and had to log in again. I really don't need to clear my search history it's just a habit. I'll probably continue to do that and being that this site remembers my login information it's fairly simple to continue to just log in everytime I want to check out what's going on here at wwDX. If I recall before I got sick and was on the site just about every day I was logged in either through Facebook or Google Plus. If it becomes annoying I will try logging in via my Facebook or Google Plus account, and see if I remain on the site once I clear my search history. It's only a small annoyance. I'm glad that I at least I'm allowed to gain access to the site when I want to. There was a time while they were updating wwDX that I was having major problems. Since that's not the issue I guess I'll just figure it out as I go along. Thanks 2 all who replied. 73

Issue solved.
I went to clear my search history, and noticed there were 2 choices specifically listed for clearing.
One was Google, and strangely enough the other choice was world wide radio fourm.
I removed wwrf by tapping that choice which removed the blue dot denoting that particular website would be cleared along with all my other Google searches.
I was so used to deleting my search history that I never noticed I not only had the Google choice, but this site as well.
I've no idea why this site would even be a choice.
Whatever the reason it is
I already tried it by clearing the history with wwdx removed and I remained logged in.
