Hi Mike, good to see you out here still...
Live Kilauea Volcano October 2, 2021 - YouTube

This link is the most current - but the guy runs a tour of the island and his former home Pele took back - have not kept up as of late because I had been paying more attention to the Canary Island one - there's been a lot of chat - in their chat - about possible tsunamis but each time they get mentioned it gets shouted down even deleted by the mods on the stream.

So the age of "cancel culture" is certainly evident.

Why do I mention that?

The last time Kilauea volcano had an earthquake of a magnitude 7 or greater, the mountain ripped loose and a large portion of that lake emptied into the Leilani Estates - the island also has had several tsunami warnings since the event - mostly due to underwater landslides and the formation of another underground volcano forming in that chain of islands.

One 6.+ Magnitude quake back in late 2020 tended to shut off one magma chamber and start reloading the main Kilauea lake - again. (Xmas time I believe)

So the quakes in the region are of a concern even though it seems to get brushed aside.

When you see cracks forming in the pavement around the La Palma volcano, and look at it's relatively small footprint - the Main vent is below the top of the dormant volcanos "parent" and is growing but also demonstrates the loose ash and composition of the islands base structure - it's own composition. It's not truly a stratiform/
Shield volcano, nor is it a truly Stromboli type - it's a mix in-between, with lava and ash flows layering on top of each other - which makes the island a prime candidate for landslides and deformations - tends to give credence more to the potential of tsunamis are there - so the probability is not zero - but still low.
