Heathkit 401 reviews?

Found one locally for 140.00 with antenna tuner. Looks real clean ,but I thought I read where there were problems with the 401 somewhere but cant find the review now

I found out the later version had to rely onto the 301 receiver crystals unless a kit was purchased. To keep price of kit the same.i will read those links you sent thanks for the reply.
