HELP! My FM is invading my CB!!

You are a mobile unit, or base?

You must be near an FM broadcast station.
If so, find out some information about it.

If you are a base-station at home, then thats a real problem for you.
But if you are mobile, i could guess its only a problem if you drive near the transmitter station.

If it truly is an FM broadcast station getting into the Galaxy receiver, disconnect the antenna from the CB to confirm it's RF picked up from the antenna and not the power source. If it's the antenna, the answer may be simple low pass TVI filter inline with the coax to the radio. The same device that blocks transmitted signals above about 35 MHz. will do the same in receive and knock the FM signal down by at least 65 db with a cheap filter. If that don't do it, the coax may be acting as the FM antenna. Make a coax choke or install an RFI core around the coax at the radio end of the antenna coax. External speakers and power cords may also need RFI cores and even bypass caps in severe cases.
