help! please cobra 142 gtl

hello, i have a cobra 142 gtl and its driving me nuts i cant figure it out. the radio works well talks great on am, and on lsb only on the "extra channels" if i try to modulate on just plain channel 38 lsb theres no output the needle swings but noe one can hear me. if i go to lsb on my extra channels they all work fine or if i go to am it works fine even talked to texas. i have replaced the finals the regulator several caps it recieves great on all channels but nothing on lower 38 at all any help would be very appreciated thank you god bless ben.

Can you confirm that your receive on (FCC, 27.385) 38 lsb is correct?
Do you hear the people talking that are trying to hear you transmitt on 38lsb?

have you tried to make sure you do not have LSB out of alignment on the frequencys. what radioman is leaning to. you may have a alignment problem and are not on freq. did this just start or did it do this after a mod of some sort. after other channels were installed etc.
