Man sounds like someone took the screwdriver to this one LeapFrog. Someone that didn't know shizz about radios! Sounds about like the tech here in my area. Says he is an authorized kenwood repair station and dude can't fix a CB radio LOL!! I am still scratching my head about that one. At any rate, keep at it man. If you get frustrated, step back and let it be for a while and come back to it! You'll get it i am sure. With the help you have it will get resolved. Here is yo hoping you get it fixed and working correctly.
