Help - what is this?


Easy! It is a base plate similar to the "coin" type plate freecell created to mount multiple sticks on. The idea is to increase the surface area of the new "array" over the individual stick. It also appears to have a polarity or orrientation option (ie: north/south-east/west) via the pl259 input(s) like the thunder 8xb from signal eng. It appears to be set up to use with the sticks "hung" facing downward but I'm not sure.

I say RDF. There is only one antenna connector,the SO-239 jack.The other jack appears to be a power connector.The antenna mounts are meant to have the antenna elements extending both above and below the center hub piece.The hub would be in the middle of the elements.Looks like a typical Adcock RDF antenna
