Hello all, I have been out of the loop for several years but lately took an interest in good old DX once again.

I have a problem I hope someone can help me with. I acquired a Bulletproof 1 amp from a friend and I need someone who has one that would be willing to take the cover off for me and take pictures or tell me how the 5 wires that go to the low/med/high/max control are wired to it.

They're labeled as A B C D E where they go into the circuit board so it would be fairly straightforward to explain. I just need to know what post too hook each to on the control.

The control came loose & someone twisted it around until all the wires broke loose. I can't find anything on the Internet that's of any help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I think I have the same amp, has two 1446 finals and variable SSB delay on the back. Give me 12 hours to get a pic and I can e-mail it to you.

Ok, yea they only made 3 two pill versions 1446's, 2290's, and then 2879's. I bet the 4 stage variable is wired the same for all.
