Help with HF vertical antenna base.

it looks like a clr 2 or maybe a radio shack model like the clr,,, it has been modified,,, you can tell by the bolts in the base and coax connector,,,, the clr had a coil on the inside that would burn up if more than 300 watts was used,,,,,,, so there were a lot of mods done to make antenna usable again,,,,

Thanks Midnight, I thought it might be something like a hustler BTV antenna. I actually know where there a re two of the CLR2 antennas, I'm sure not still in use.The base is really heavy duty 1/8" thick.

Coax question. I just put up a new Sirio monsoon base antenna with 100’ of rg8u coax testing with myMFJ antenna analyzer shows 1.4 swr at 26.965mhz and a 1.1 at 27.405 mhz . When I checked the ohms it’s steady a 30 ohms across the entire bandwidth.

Is 30 ohms worth worrying about in a 100’ run of rg8u ?
