Help with low audio vx7r?

Not sure there is an easy way to change that? Try taking yours to the local HRO and compare it to a demo one to see if it's the same.

I bought mine used. I think I might have the older version. Iv noticed the whole case is air tight. Cause when I turn up the audio the ptt switch viberates when audio is coming from the internal speaker.

Have you tried removing the battery for a second to relieve any pressure difference from the inside to the outside of the radio? This pressure can build up and cause the speaker diaphragm to not operate properly. This is especially true on early versions that were more airtight.

Let me try that. I post back what happens.

Update^
It helped some. Seems like the ptt is part of a small airtite speaker box the higher the volume the more it pulsates.
