HELP WITH MC-47 PLUG WIRING

Just make sure you are looking at the connector from the right side. The diagram should show it as seen from the jack not as it would look as if soldering. Double check tbe pin numbers and don't just rely on the layout. Been there, done that myself before. :headbang

No as you have said I been down that road been there done that got the Tshirt now I double check before even soldering the first wire LMA:lol:!!

I just cant figure out why I get nothing no keyuo no up/down channel movement fricken crazy!! It would make sense if the wires were all backwards but they were correct!! I cut the plug off up high thinking maybe the cord was pinched broke and bad so we will se tomorrow.

I even use a large magnifying lighter lamp to see the pin numbers and after doing so many mics you just automatically know its reversed from the backside but I still check ;)

Ok C.K. I got her figured out and done I was right because I cut about 3 inches off the mic cord and started over and all was good boy was I glad because I had figured that it had to be a bad spot in the damn cord so when I resoldered it all I shrink tubed everything after checking my work but before testing the mic because its pouring raining here LMAO!! But I plugged it in and all was good. ;)

I just had to have someone look at the wiring scheme because I thought I was losing my mind when I was not getting anything out of the mic LMA:laugh:

Good stuff. I made a post here last night from my phone at work but I guess it didn't make it. Phone locked up and had to be reset and I never made it back until now. I said it would be a bitch if the problem was with the jack on the radio instead. I have been down that long lonely highway before too. :headbang Glad to know that was not your case.
