I know this problem of the modulation meter jumping around and being unstable in the Dosy meters is common and was curious if anyone here has nailed it down to what the problem and fix is?
I have a Dosy TFC-3001 that I had dug out of the closet the otherday and the modulation meter is nuts (Jumping allover the place wildy out of control) I looked at the modulation board and theres only a few parts there and was wondering what I should be looking at or for to start?
I am also curious what the frequency range is on the meter section? I know the new blue display models are good from 1.8 MHz to 50 MHz but I have the older red display model version and know the frequency counter is good for 0 to 350MHz but I am curious about the meter section specs.
I had called Dosy (QP) and talked to George at one time years ago but cannot remember what he said the specs were if I remember right the older red display models such as mine had a wider range than the new blue display versions but need to know forsure Thanks....Tony
