Why? People will only pay what they want to pay for an item. If he delivers what is offered in a timely manner and it is well packed then what is the problem?

I see a lot of posts about people asking ridiculous prices for stuff and being called idiots. I have always countered that it is not he who asks that is the idiot but rather he who pays that is the idiot. If someone actually gets $80 for an empty box when it is presented as exactly that, empty, then all the power to a marketing genius. He is far from an idiot. The same in this case. If he gets what he is asking then what's the problem with what he is asking? Other than it's a piss of if you want it but won't spend that much for it. Then again if there was no reserve there is no guarentee that it will go cheap if someone willing to spend the better part of $1000 is bidding on it as well.

i must agree. the man has tons of great feedback .he has and will get those prices .i say more power to him .
i only wish i could get those prices .he gets his hands on some good items and he knows the value .
 
A FEW OF YOU NEED TO GOOGLE HIS E BAY NAME AND READ THE REVIEWS. HE IS KNOWN FOR BUYING YOUR RADIO THEN FILING A CLAIM THAT IT WAS MIS DESCRIBDED THEN FILES A CLAIM, GETS HIS MONEY BACK, AND MAILS YOU BACK A SCRAP RADIO OR WHATEVER HE FEELS LIKE SHIPPING. He's also known in the Turbo Buick world to scam people of their stuff on eBay. He's been reported before yet still manages to continue his way.

The GE Superbase is an EXCELLENT radio......great SSB and blaring loud AM. I wouldn't pay more than $400 for one that is NOS and never from that ebayer.
 
eBay sellers like this guy and RadioMart will never get banned by eBay because they generate too much money. Gone are the days when sellers were small and eBay was fair. I don;t sell anything there anymore and I've been an eBay member since just about day one.

Then why didn't you say something to that effect in your first post. The link you simply provided certainly did not contain any info like that and it looked like you simply had a problem with someone selling an empty box.

Radio Mart is gone from ebay. He claims he does so much business that dealing with Ebay is too much of a bother. :laugh:
 
Is turbo sh** at it again. lol The last time i checked he was trying to sell a browning mk4 for like 1400.00 And with that came a story that only a used car salesman could tell and get away with. lol.
