Running the Yaesu FT 2000 D and EQplus here.
The FT 2000 D has already a lot of audiosettings in the menu, but the EQplus does most of the work here with the Yaesu MD-1 microphone.

Never saw the use for the 8 band EQ though, the FT 2000 D will go from 20 - 4000 Hz in audio and AM sounds very good as i was told by the other stations without asking as does SSB.

Your transciever is different, but with experimental settings you might get an as good result as i do.

I have both the EQPlus and 8 band EQ. If I had to purchase just one, it would be the EQPlus. With that IC-7000, you don't have any way to adjust the bass & treble, so the EQPlus will also help you out with that, as well as add the downward expander and compression. If you still don't get the results you want, adding the 8 Band EQ will do the trick.

Okay so I need the eq+ good deal.
