Damn it! Slowmover you bit me to it, you are good! Not a side mic
Still just a RCI 2950 with extra knobs, and now they have designed a face plate and installed one of CHINA's fancy mass produced screens.
(which can be bought for about $50 bucks) +/-
Price????? $700+++ USD or more I would bet...
Better off with nice Yaesu or ICOM rig for that kind of money...then you get 100watt very stable transmitter/better receiver and all bands with smoother VFO control....
IMHO

YEEEAAAA baby... all the lights,, screens,,, and meters one can take.. Very Nice radio bud.
this is absolutely amazing.
check out his facebook page photos. there are many.
this guy made the freaking knobs and switch covers for this radio!
it was obviously a labor of love and something that he probably wanted for years.
every single thing about this radio is custom, and im guessing this guy put over 5000 into the project, if not more.
sure, some would rather just buy an expensive radio and be done with it, but those people will never know the feeling of operating a piece of equipment that you built and customized yourself.
it's a completely different world.
people also tend to forget that the entire process of making each part of this was fun and satisfying for the builder.
