Home Brew 10/12 meter Portable Loop

that's different . neatly compact . mount it atop a tall walking stick when hiking . it's also dang cool looking :)
on the cb band how would it compare RF wise to a horizontal dipole at the same tip height ? mobility wise the dipole would be at a huge disadvantage unless you were in a relatively open area .

I Was in a apartment for a short time, I played with several loops on the ground floor patio.
Just sitting on a small table allowed me to make some good contacts on 20 meters with it and the 897.
1/4 inch copper or 3/8 tubing works great and is easy to work with.

Here is a great page with lots of good info.

AA5TB - Small Loop Antennas

I did think about that Cap Homer, lol.
