I would like to try making a Iambic Paddle Keyer. I have seen on YouTube one that a guy made using a stereo phono jack and another one using transistors in what he called a "Darlington pair"? I tried searching through Google to see if I could find anything but never found anything on how to make one of these or explaining what was involved. Could someone please help me make one of these?
 

Thanks. Not quite what I'm looking for but very informative. I think what I'm going to have to do is buy what I think I will need and learn from there probably. Its unfortunate that when someone creates something like that they don't document it as well so others can learn from it. That is what I'm going to do once I figure this out.
