Hooked up with DXman

Hey Larry, your beam was making a 20/S9 signal today and your I-10K was a solid S9 using my AstroPlane @ 45' feet to the top.

It has been some time since I talked to one of the old CDX gang and it was great to hook up with you on 27.385. The North West has been heavy into the Southeast Texas area almost all day since noon.

Hope you are doing well and l look forward to hooking up again soon.

It was great hearing an old familiar voice call out Larry. I will have to attribute my being slow to hear you on my inexperience at DX, cause' anytime I see a 20/S9 signal I need to answer the call. I'll just have to renew my skills at paying attention.

With the sparse traffic, even in a city as big as Houston, it tells me that the old times on CB are not likely to return however---except maybe for us older operators. Besides that Larry---I don't understand the chatter from most of the young whipper-snappers on the air these days. They must be talking in code, you think?

We will connect again I'm sure of that.
