How cold is it where you are @6:30 AM?

i wouldn't say it was cold here, but the polar bear with the sombrero and shades on, that just ran up my street clutching an airline ticket to the costa del sol tells me that spain may be a tad warmer than here.

on the plus side my country has recently been invited to compete in the arctic games.

Coincidentally 6:30am is when I had to get up. It was 28 degrees F this morning and presently at 10:00am it is right at 32 degrees F. The coldest it's been so far this winter was 8 degrees above zero.

The average minimum overnight temperature for January is usually at freezing point, but in Scotland it was regularly below -5C.
Salt grit shortages were reported throughout December and January and the tiny Highlands village of Altnaharra recorded one January night temperature of -22.3C.

that was last year, i believe this winter is even worse.

gives an idea of how warm its been in scotland these past couple of months as the country ground to a standstill. it was so cold here a couple of weeks back i had to thaw out the thc crystals on my bud before i could smoke them, pmsl.

i laugh when i hear people talking about global warming, here we're well into preparations for the new ice age.

34°F, falling barometer (gotta attach it better so it doesn't fall). Supposed to get up to mid-40s today with rain.

Got about 3" of snow last night and schools in this district are closed for the day. Puts a crimp in my volunteering schedule, but keeps the kids safe.

Right now it's up to 38°. Given the usual western WA winter of constant rain, when it does snow it's generally a welcome change and it's usually gone within a day or so. Compared with the rest of the country, I think I prefer rain to sheets of ice on the roads!

"Global warming"???

I thought, you know with all the good bees dieing, the African killer bees moving North into the continental USA and stuff, that they've been worried about "Global Swarming"...
